Any club planning to host a tournament, whether established or new, 7's or 15's... This was discussed at the PRU AGM...

Please coordinate with Bill Evans, PRU VP (vicepresident@pru.org) by sending him, with cc: to me, the date of your tournament. In general, there are no restrictions on anyone having a tournament. There are no PRU fees, they should be well run, they should not cause other problems. Established tournaments get priority for referees over new tournaments. Above all, league matches, playoffs, and 7's qualifiers get the first priority.

It's worth noting that for the last two summers, referees have been hard to come by, with the head referee issuing multiple calls for referees right up to the last minute. Many referees take the summer off or take up the whistle infrequently.
